   Objectives For Regional Meetings
   <% server.execute "/includes/dateMod.asp" %>

Regional meetings focus on (1) promoting interchapter activities, (2) encouraging student interest in emerging business issues, (3) providing students the opportunity to develop communication skills, both written and oral, (4) providing members with the opportunity to exchange ideas concerning chapter operations and activities in both formal and informal settings, and (5) providing the opportunity for general leadership training for officers and members.

Regional meetings were attended by 1,105 individuals representing 198 chapters. Workshops for chapter activities were held by/for members. The National Office funded $40,000 for eight regional meetings. Each of the regional meetings was supported by members of the Advisory Forum and attended by at least one national board member and the respective Regional Director.
