INCOMING BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Robert (Bobby) Boecker
Robert (Bobby) Boecker recently graduated from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in May of 1998 with my Masters of Science in Accounting. While obtaining this degree, he worked in the auditing department for The Williams Companies, Inc., a gas pipeline corporation. He will begin his auditing career with Arthur Andersen LLP in Houston this September.

Bobby received a Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in December of 1995. While obtaining his undergraduate degree he worked for a large group of anesthesiologist helping with accounting, billing, and information system implementation problems in the Texas Medical Center. From this work experience, he understood the need for an accounting background. His involvement with Beta Alpha Psi came as he was working on his graduate degree in accounting. He wanted to get involved with an organization that promoted accounting as exciting and fulfilling, not just bean counting. Through his involvement with Beta Alpha Psi the amount of people, choices, and exciting career paths for accountants proved amazing and better than he could have ever imagined.

Bobby is very excited to be the next Alumni Representative, and looks forward to meeting the students, faculty, and accounting professionals involved with Beta Alpha Psi. His hope is that his excitement about a career in accounting will encourage the current members of Beta Alpha Psi to spread the word about the endless possibilities in accounting.
