Greetings Beta Alpha Psi Faculty Advisors, Co-Faculty Advisors,
and Chapter Presidents!
Happy holidays, I bring great news! Beta Alpha Psi is having its
annual Western Regional Meeting in Anaheim , CA on February 10 and
11, 2006. This is a great opportunity for your schools BAP
members , pledges, and faculty advisors to mingle, share ideas and
make new friends with BAPers from across California, Nevada, Arizona,
and Hawaii! There will also be a number of fun and fantastic
things lined up for your BAP students, including Brent Woodford,
the Senior Vice President of Planning and Control as our luncheon
speaker. They will also have an opportunity to visit Disneyland
or California Adventures (at a discount rate of $31) with old
buddies from your school or new buddies from other BAP chapters.
Let me emphasize that this will be an enlightening experience for
your BAP students. In order to attend this event there are some important
details that your school's BAP Chapter must know. First, in order
to receive the BAP rate for registration and hotel lodging, students
and faculty who plan to attend MUST register by January
10, 2006 . Registration for the Regional Conference is possible
online at http://www.calstatela.edu/orgs/bap/2006wr/. This
Link is only for registration for the Conference . To book
a room at the Double Tree you must call the reservation number provided
on the website. If attendees do not register before January
10, 2006 registration and lodging fees will increase, and a room
at the conference site will not be guaranteed. I hope that I see
your school's chapter in strong attendance! Fees are as follows:
Before January 10, 2006:
Registration : $44
Leadership Conference : $25
Room rate per night: $125
Rooms may hold up to four people. They will have two full beds
and the Double Tree will provide two roll away beds if necessary.
After January 10, 2006:
Registration: $60
Leadership Conference: $25
Room rate per night : Double Tree's normal booking rate
Reminder: this will be in the Disneyland vicinity, a popular tourist
Site. Normal rates may be substantive.
