Dear Beta Alpha Psi Chapters,
Greetings! We hope that you and your chapter had a successful start into the New Year!
As the Beta Alpha Psi Alumni Representatives on the Board of Directors, we wanted to officially introduce ourselves and tell you about the position of the Alumni Representative and what it can mean for you and your chapter.
In case you have not heard of or met one of the Alumni Representatives, here is a brief explanation of our role: Alumni representatives serve as full board members on a two-year term and have the role and responsibility of helping advise the Board from more of a college student/new professional perspective. Throughout the year, Alumni Representatives attend three board meetings, the Annual Meeting, four regional meetings, and the Case Seminars. Alumni Representative candidates are nominated by their chapter upon their graduation and must have full written support from their employer. Each spring, applications for the position are available online and must be submitted online by the beginning of May. One new representative is chosen annually by the Board at the June Board Meeting.
As the current Alumni Representatives, we are here for you and your chapter! Being a part of the Board of Directors, we can provide immediate feedback to the international leaders of this organization. However, we need your input! Therefore, we would like to invite you to contact us with your candid comments, questions, and feedback on Beta Alpha Psi activities and events. We would like to establish an informal communication channel between you and the Board of Directors and learn about your questions and concerns at the chapter level.
