I hope that you had a good holiday season and that 2007 is off to a good start for you. I’d like to update you on our relocation and staff changes.

Staff changes

Margaret (Margie) Fiorentino has joined our staff, succeeding Val Page and Zoe Cheung. She is taking on many of their responsibilities but will be assuming new ones as well. Margaret relocated from New York to Chapel Hill, North Carolina this past summer.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from City College in New York and has diverse corporate experience that includes college and IT recruitment and Office Administration for such companies as The Pepsi Bottling Group and The Nine West Group. Margie has been working for BAP on a temporary basis since the middle of November so some of you may have already “met” her.

At this time I want to thank Zoe Cheung for her contribution to BAP and wish her good luck in the next chapter of her life. Her last day will be this Friday, January 12. Zoe has been with BAP for over nine years and played a key role in the recent development of the Reporting Intranet to integrate the system with the PCA. Many of you have worked closely with Zoe over the years and we appreciate her dedication. You can wish her well at her current e-mail, zcheung@aicpa.org, or after Friday at zcheunglee@gmail.com.

Relocation update

Our relocation is complete, but we are still in “transition” as not all of the AICPA positions have been relocated to NC. BAP is impacted when there are changes at the AICPA. Now that we are in Durham, we are in a better position to minimize the impact on our organization.  For your information, here is our contact information:
