We are proud to announce that AGN International www.agn.org and CPAmerica  www.cpamerica.org will be joining our Advisory Forum.  Both organizations are associations of separate and independent accounting and consulting firms serving business organizations throughout the United States (and in AGN’s case, throughout the world). Member firms of both AGN and CPAmerica assist clients in meeting the challenges posed both by successful domestic and cross-border ventures. These firms advise companies on diverse financial and tax rules governing local, national and international commerce. We believe the addition of these two members will provide a broader diversity for our members as they start across the bridge to professionalism.

To incorporate what is in essence 125 separate organizations, we asked each organization to create a task force which will function as the “go-to” committee for all our interested constituents, including faculty advisors, technical presentation officers, forum liaisons, and directors at large.  We believe that this format will allow your chapters find an appropriate speaker for your chapter technical presentations without having to search through their web sites and take a “stab” at a firm. 

In addition to chapter presentations, each designated committee member will be available to assist the Directors-at-Large, forum liaisons, and the host chapters in selecting potential speakers for the regional meetings.

With the regional meetings around the corner and with term having just ramped up at all our campuses, we encourage each chapter and especially our host chapters to contact their committee member for any ideas or suggestions.

We are quite excited about our new members and I want to personally encourage you all to utilize their vast resources.  While we believe the process we have developed will be effective, we admit that it is a new “animal” for us over at the Forum and there could be bumps in the road.  I encourage you all to be patient but to let the executive office or me know if you are experiencing any significant issues in contacting our new members.
