Beta Alpha Psi Executive Office Staff
The Nancy Harke Executive Office is operated under the direction of the Beta Alpha Psi Board of Directors. Support for the office is provided by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) under the terms of an alliance with BAP . The alliance with the AICPA has allowed the Executive Office to streamline the reporting process, and to take advantage of many available resources.

Hadassah Baum (Dassie) is responsible for the operation of the Nancy C. Harke Executive Office, the coordination of board and forum meetings, finance, and internal technology for Beta Alpha Psi. She was recently awarded the Certified Association Executive credential from the American Society of Association Executives.
Prior to becoming the executive director of Beta Alpha Psi, Dassie was a technical manager for the AICPA’s New Finance Team for 8 years. She prepared the BusInd E-news twice monthly, e-mailed to over 70,000 AICPA members. She also served as the staff liaison to the Business & Industry Executive Committee and was involved in planning conferences for members in business & industry, extensive membership interaction, and research related to industry members.
Previously, Dassie was the Director of Academic Development for the Institute of Management Accountants. She was responsible for promoting careers in management accounting to students and faculty. Some of her accomplishments were developing IMA student membership, increasing scholarships, organizing the National Student Case Competition, and arranging a faculty symposium each year.
She has had a variety of experience in public accounting, industry and education.
Her educational background includes being a CPA and CMA, an MBA from New York University, and a BS in Accounting from Brooklyn College.

Margaret Fiorentino

Margaret was recently promoted to Chapter Services Specialist. As the primary point of contact for BAP, she handles all incoming phone calls, email inquiries as well as sending out the communications on behalf of the Executive Office.
Margaret is responsible for reviewing all Chapter Reporting, preparation of the Annual Report, assisting new petitioning chapters and working closely with the Board of Directors.
Margaret holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from City College in New York and has diverse corporate experience that includes college and IT recruitment and Office Administration for such companies as The Pepsi Bottling Group and The Nine West Group.
Margaret volunteers with her neighborhood community and serves on various committees. She resides in Chapel Hill, NC with her husband Peter.
Cortney McCullough

Cortney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from North Carolina State University.
Prior to joining Beta Alpha Psi, Cortney worked for the AICPA Business, Industry and Government team where she was responsible for the team’s monthly newsletter, website maintenance and creating weekly newsletters and bi-monthly advertising for sponsorship with the Financial Executives Networking Group.
Before the AICPA, Cortney was an Outreach Coordinator for the Lee County Partnership for Children she was responsible for the annual report, pitching stories to the local media, fundraising and managing the Lee County Imagination Library literacy program.
Cortney is currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Marketing from North Carolina State University.

Amber Johnson is responsible for planning the Beta Alpha Psi Annual Meeting in addition to other AICPA conferences. She operationally oversees the AICPA’s Volunteer Committee Meetings and her team is responsible for the BAP regional meeting program.
Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and has a diverse corporate and non-profit background coupled with over 10 years of Marketing and Events experience. Amber came to us from Everbridge, a California based company where as their Marketing Events Manager she oversaw their online and offline events program. Amber has managed events, conferences and trade show programs for several large west coast based companies. As the Director of Special Events for the Pacific Symphony she was responsible for their annual gala, wine auction and volunteer group events which successfully supported the symphony’s concert, education, and community programs.
Amber recently relocated from Los Angeles and currently resides with her husband and 8 year old son in Apex, NC.
Esteban Alicea-Rivera

Esteban has over eleven years experience producing various websites, web-based e-learning and web-based applications in academic, corporate and government work environments. Most recently he worked as a Web Designer / Developer with MetaMetrics, Inc. In addition, he helped develop the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission website to exceed section 508 accessibility compliance and created EEOC’s Spanish language website. In the past Esteban has developed backend e-learning modules for the Pharmaceutical industry, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and Military Medicine, and the U.S. Navy Seals.
Esteban lives with his wife Stefanie and his seven year old son Stephen who wants to be a paleontologist when he grows up.
