President Elect: Jan Taylor Morris

Jan Taylor Morris, Ph.D., CPA, is a member of the accounting faculty at Sam Houston State University. She taught previously at University of San Diego (USD) and University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL). She earned a B.S.in Accounting and an MBA from UHCL and a Ph.D. from USD.
Jan's primary research interests relate to auditing and accounting ethics and leadership. Her most recent publications were in Journal of Accountancy and Journal of Healthcare Finance. She is a member of and active in several professional and academic organizations, including the American Accounting Association, American Institute of CPAs, Texas Society of CPAs, the Board of Trustees of the Educational Foundation of TSCPA, and Beta Alpha Psi. She is licensed as a certified public accountant in the state of Texas and regularly conducts audit training and business writing workshops for CPA firms.
Jan has a long history with Beta Alpha Psi. She has served as faculty advisor to three chapters, served two three-year terms on the Beta Alpha Psi board of directors (as Regional Director and Director of Administration and Development), chaired the annual conference several times, and served as co-chair to the Project Run With It Competition for three years.
Jan has received numerous awards for her teaching, research, and service to both the accounting and academic professions, including the Outstanding Volunteer Award from the Leadership Committee of the Texas Society of CPAs; the Beta Alpha Psi National Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award; the Dissertation of the Year Award from USD; the Outstanding Education Manuscript Award from Southwest Region, AAA; the Outstanding Accounting Professor at UHCL Award; and the Outstanding Accounting Educator Award from the Texas Society of CPAs.
Director of Global Activities: Lee H. Radebaugh

Lee H. Radebaugh is the Whitmore Professor of International Business and Director of the Kay and Yvonne Whitmore Global Management Center/CIBER at Brigham Young University. Previously, he was the Associate Dean of the Marriott School of Management, Associate Director of the MBA program, and Director of the School of Accountancy. From 2000-2003, he was the President of the Brazil Porto Alegre South Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He received his DBA and MBA from Indiana University and his BS in accounting from BYU. He taught at The Pennsylvania State University and was a visiting professor at ESAN in Lima, Peru and at Glasgow University in Glasgow, Scotland. He is the coauthor of several books, including International Business Environments and Operations (14th, edition) and International Accounting and Multinational Enterprises (6th edition). He has also published several monographs and articles on international business and international accounting. His international research interests include ethics and the accounting profession in a global context; the impact of exchange rates on operations, accounting, and financial reporting; and the role of culture and institutional factors on international accounting and international business. A past president of the International Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association, he was given the Outstanding Service Award for the section in 2007, and in 1998, he was named the “Outstanding International Educator” of the International Section of the AAA. He was elected to the Fellows of the Academy of International Business in 1990. In his current position at BYU, he is responsible for establishing exchange agreements with Universities abroad and actively leads student and faculty groups to Asia, the Middle East, and South America.

Oceania Region– Pearl Rozenberg

Pearl Rozenberg has been involved with Beta Alpha Psi for some 5 years. She was a key player in BAP adding its first Australia chapter at the University of Sydney.
Pearl has studied both law and science although has largely practiced in law. She is eligible to practice law in Australia and also Canada having been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Law Society of Upper Canada. Before moving to academe Pearl worked for large multinational and domestic law firms.
Pearl has taught at the University of Melbourne, Deakin University, University of New South Wales and is presently teaching at the University of Sydney. Her areas of specialty include commercial law, banking, finance and insolvency law and legal issues dealing with eCommerce. She has published books and numerous journal articles within her research areas as well as a series on research, teaching and citation of Internet resources. Pearl also holds the position of Director Academic Appeals, an Ombudsman like position, and so handles all appeals from students as well as oversight of all teaching administration and policy issues.
Pearl has particular expertise in teaching using technology. She has won a University of Sydney Teaching Excellence Award for the use of technology with teaching and has been invited to speak at teaching showcases and national and international conferences dealing with teaching and the Internet.
Rocky Mountain/Missouri Valley – Janice Klimek

Janice L. Klimek is a Professor at the University of Central Missouri where she serves as Graduate Program Director for the School of Accountancy. Dr. Klimek received her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska in 1996 and has been teaching in Missouri for 16 years. She is a CPA with experience in both public accounting and private industry and her research interests include taxation and accounting education.
Dr. Klimek has been Faculty Advisor for the Iota Mu chapter of Beta Alpha Psi at the University of Central Missouri since 2002 and has been VITA Coordinator for the past eight years. She is also active in the Missouri Society of CPA's.
Midwest – Mehmet Kocakulah

Dr. Mehmet C. Kocakülâh specializes in cost and management accounting. His current research is in the areas of healthcare costs and new trends in cost and management accounting such as activity-based management, cost of quality and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems. He is former chair of the department of accounting and business law at the University of Southern Indiana.
Professor Kocakulah has published numerous articles in academic and practitioner journals and proceedings, including the Journal of Cost Management, Journal of Research in healthcare Financial Management, The Accounting Education: The International Journal, Tax Notes, The Tax Advisor, The Journal of Bank Cost and Management Accounting, Health Progress, The Journal of Accounting Education, Journal of System Management and the Journal of Healthcare Finance. He also is actively involved in many professional organizations and serves in editorial board of several academic journals and professional organizations.
He has been Faculty Advisor to the Beta Alpha Psi Lambda Mu Chapter since its inception at the University of Southern Indiana. In 2007 and 2011, Psi Lambda Mu chapter co-hosted a very successful Midwest regional meetings in Indianapolis along with the University of Notre Dame.
Also, he was honored to receive the 2010 McGladrey & Pullen/ BAP Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award.
He has consulted with small businesses on financial and cost accounting and accounting information systems matters.
