Important Deadline Reminders

December 1st, 2011 – Initial Proposal for the Ernst & Young Diversity Initiative is due. Link: 2012 Diversity Initiative
- Up to 10 chapters will be chosen to continue in the competition after the first round of proposal reviews . They will receive $500.00 seed money to implement their proposed idea.
- The grand prizes are $2000.00 (one winner), $1500.00 (one winner) and $1000.00 (three winners) which will be announced at the 2012 annual meeting in Baltimore, MD.
December 15th, 2011 – Outstanding Dean and Business Professional of the Year Nominations are due. Download the nomination form at: Downloadable Forms
Complete the nomination forms and upload to the ROA page of the Reporting Intranet.

December 15th , 2011 – Award Seeking Chapters - Chapter Workbooks are due. (US Chapters only). Make sure to complete the below:

Upload Excel Workbook to Reporting Intranet (Professional Hours – Award Seeking Chapters Page)
Update the Reaching Out Activities (ROA) Screen on Reporting Intranet
Update Professional and Service Activities on Mission Based Activities Screen on Reporting Intranet

Please note that if your chapter's Beginning of the Year report is still incomplete on December 15th, your chapter will not be eligible for award seeking status.

Reminder – All Award Checks from the annual conference have been sent – if you have not received them yet, please check with your campus mail or business school departments to collect them and please deposit them.

IMA Young Professional Award Nominations – Deadline December 31, 2011.
Just a reminder that IMA® is accepting nominations for the first-ever IMA Young Professional Award. IMA Young Professional members are encouraged to apply for this award as well as share with friends and colleagues that may be potential candidates. The award will recognize outstanding young professionals who have demonstrated creative approaches to problem solving within the accounting and finance profession.
