Hi everyone,

We hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of summer.

  1. 2009 Annual Meeting in Brooklyn NY – Make sure to register before June 15th to get the early bird registration rate of $200. The rate will be increased to $225 after June 15th!
    1. New York Water Taxi –On Friday evening, (8/7/2009) from 7-9 PM we have arranged for two water taxis to take you on a cruise around Manhattan where you will see the East River, Hudson River, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island! The tour will begin and end at the Fulton Ferry Landing near the Brooklyn Bridge , a five minute walk from our hotel. Tickets available on CVENT for $25 per person (including soft drinks and bottled water) – 250 seats available so order now!
    2. Annual Meeting Website - Please remember to go the annual meeting website for more updates and information regarding Community Service Day, Project Run With It, Best Practices and other events!
  2. PHOTOS for the New Website! The new BAP website is almost ready and we are looking for pictures of our chapters to post. Please send your best photos to Este Alicea-Rivera at:  ealicea-rivera@aicpa.org along with a note of release.

  4. Gold Chapter Challenge Update: We had a great response for the Gold Chapter Challenge sponsored by KPMG. 31 schools submitted DVDs! Winners will be announced at the Annual Meeting!
