Greetings everyone!

The time for the 2009 Beta Alpha Psi Annual Meeting is almost here!

Please read the below important information regarding this year’s meeting.

Registration Hours at the Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge – Ballroom Foyer

• Wednesday, August 5th – 6:00pm to 8:00pm - We’ve added early registration hours for those of you arriving on Wednesday!
• Thursday, August 6th – 7:30am to 6:30pm
• Friday, August 7th – 7:00am to 6:00pm
• Saturday, August 8th – 7:00am to 12:00pm

Please note the following regarding the hotel:

Porterage Charges
Currently, porterage gratuities are $6.24 per bag, roundtrip. This is a mandatory charge for all "group arrivals." A group arrival or departure is the simultaneous arrival/departure of ten (10) or more guests arriving via bus or van with the same group. These charges will be charged to each guest upon arrival and not towards the main group master or the master account of the "sub group" or "affiliated group" that is arriving.

Community Service Day – Red Hook Park, Brooklyn, NY – Sponsored by KPMG

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

1. When you register please make sure to pick up your Community Service Day T-Shirt
2. You must be ready by 11:15am since the project will be away from the hotel. Everyone including faculty advisors and board members will participate in this year’s CSD activity.
3. This year’s Community Service Day Project is detailed on the BAP website at: http://www.bap.org/bap09/commservice.html
4. What to wear:
   1. Wear your CSD t-shirt and a hat.
   2. Layer comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
   3. Please wear closed toed athletic shoes or hiking/working boots – NO FLIP FLOPS.
   4. Long pants are suggested due to the nature of the work outdoors.
   5. Please do not bring valuables.
   6. Bring sunglasses, sun block and insect repellent.
   7. Gloves and tools will be provided.
5. A boxed lunch & beverage will be provided at the work site.

All three vessels for the New York Water Taxi are Sold Out! You may pick-up your purchased tickets at the registration desk.

Conduct at the Annual Meeting

Please remember that you are representing Beta Alpha Psi and your university while attending the annual meeting. Our conference is a professional meeting and you should behave accordingly. You are expected to attend all sessions and activities as well as to dress appropriately (business casual with the exception of Community Service Day.)
