Beta Alpha Psi's "partnership" with Oklahoma State University continues to offer an exciting opportunity for members to study in London. The 1998 program is scheduled for the period from June 5 to July 4, 1998.
All students and OSU faculty will live at Regent's College. As in previous years, outside speakers and lecturers will be included in the class schedule. Examples of past speakers include representatives from the British Parliament, British Bankers Association, Barclay's Bank and the Tate Gallery. Additionally, activities such as visits to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Lloyd's of London, and excellent museums and shows are available.
The 1998 program will include an accounting course entitled "The Globalization of Accounting Practices and Standards." Students will be introduced to the British origins of modern accounting practices, the international accounting issues impacting U.S. companies, and the impact of technology on global business practices and international accounting standards.
