Epsilon Rho Chapter, University of Wisconsin - Whitewater
On Thursday, September 3, 1998, the Epsilon Rho Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi sponsored the first annual College of Business and Economics (C.O.B.E.) Organization Fair at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. It was held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fair was held outside of Carlson Hall, the C.O.B.E. building, in hopes of attracting as many business students as possible. The purpose of the fair was to give the business organizations on campus an opportunity to show students what their organization had to offer and answer any questions that people had.
Chairperson Sara Scheibe coordinated the fair. She initially contacted representatives on the Dean's Advisory Council to assess whether there was an interest in the fair. She then contacted the presidents of the business organizations to confirm their attendance at the fair. At the end of the summer, she contacted each organization to give them the final details about the fair. Overall, 10 of the 16 business organizations participated in the fair making it a great success.
