Zeta Lambda Chapter at Bradley University

We all know that accounting is an exciting and worthwhile career field. The Program of Chapter Activities encourages us to present two accounting career programs (see Sub-category 2-b). This fall, members of the Zeta Lambda Chapter chose a creative and entertaining way to encourage non-accounting students to pursue a career in accounting.

We created an Accounting Jeopardy game with the following categories: Education, On the Job, Salaries, and Accounting Misconceptions. We invited students from the introductory accounting classes to learn more about accounting and all it has to offer. Those present were divided into several teams and each took their turn answering a question. After Final Jeopardy, the team with the most points was awarded a prize. We finished the program by serving pizza and soda. The students' eager participation led to an overall successful presentation.

If your chapter is looking for a fun and creative way to promote accounting careers, consider creating an Accounting Jeopardy game of your own. It's an entertaining way for students to learn more about accounting and a great way for students to interact.
