Dess Vince Cruz graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2015, and has established a career managing non-profit programs. Dess currently serves as the Programs Coordinator at the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) National Office in Alexandria, VA. As the Programs Coordinator, Dess manages AGA’s Young Professional Initiatives, Student Programs, and Citizen-Centric Reporting program. Dess also provides vital organizational support to AGA’s webinars, events, and nationwide chapters. Prior to joining AGA, Dess spent 4 years managing federal contracts at the Armed Services YMCA National Headquarters. As a former Olympic taekwondo athlete, Dess spends most of her free time coaching a sport taekwondo team with her husband.
