Grant Thornton can assist the student members of Beta Alpha Psi by presenting on career and technical related topics in the fields of Audit, Tax, and Advisory services. Grant Thornton also has expertise in soft skills training such as networking, interviewing, dining/business etiquette, social media etiquette, personal branding, etc. Leadership training is also a great way for Grant Thornton to help develop the incoming executive membership of BAP.

About Elizabeth Abrego:

Elizabeth Abrego leads the Community Building (Talent Acquisition and Onboarding) Team for Grant Thornton, LLP and is a key part of the People & Community Leadership Team.

Through an intentional effort to understand and collaborate with Grant Thornton’s leaders, Elizabeth leads the team to focus on how best to support the firm’s strategic objectives.  With nearly 20 years of experience in Human Resources, she has been keenly focused on strategy, developing recruiting, onboarding and supportive people experiences that align with strategic business objectives. She enthusiastically supports Grant Thornton’s efforts to achieve targets and objectives related to diversity, retention and high performing appreciation. 

Elizabeth obtained her BA in Economics from Hunter College, part of the City University of New York. Elizabeth and her husband reside in New York and enjoy living an active lifestyle.  During their free time they love exploring the city; finding New York’s best kept secrets; looking for new places to eat and interactive experiences in which to participate.
