Mangala Prasetia 
Regional Alumni Representative: Oceania

Mangala is a Risk Analyst in the National Australia Bank's Information systems and technology risk team. Mangala previously worked as a Risk Consultant at PwC Australia and Auditor at ShineWing Australia.  Mangala is particularly passionate about managing risk through the application of data analytics and has had experience working with clients from a variety of industries including banking, education, food and beverage. 

Mangala completed a double degree in Commerce/Economics majoring in Actuarial Studies, Accounting, Econometrics and Business Statistics as part of the Monash Business School Scholars program in 2018.

During his time at Monash, Mangala was involved in many extracurricular activities, most prominently becoming the inaugural Chapter President of the Beta Alpha Psi Xi Epsilon chapter in 2017. Mangala also represented the chapter in the Best Practices and Project Run With It competitions. Following graduation, he continued to remain engaged in the Beta Alpha Psi community and is very honoured to serve as the 2020-2021 Oceania Region Alumni Representative. 

Outside of work, Mangala regularly participates in a wide range of community engagement initiatives and is particularly passionate about mentoring. He is a peer mentor for a number of institutions, where he hopes that he can share his passion for community service, positively influence young people and empower the next generation of leaders.
