Adyant Modi

Mid-Year Representative

Adyant is a recent graduate from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Analytics. During his time at Deakin, he interned with Singapore Airlines and was deeply involved in various leadership and community initiatives.

Adyant joined Beta Alpha Psi as Memberships Officer back in 2023, later serving as the Chapter President and currently the Executive Chair for the Xi Kappa chapter. Under his leadership, Deakin chapter achieved its first-ever Gold Chapter Status and participated for the first time in Best Practices competition. Adyant has attended three Oceania Mid-Year Meetings and one Annual Meeting where he took part in the Project Run with It competition. Through BAP, he led impactful service projects including a community bushwalk that raised over $6,000+ for the Australian wildlife along with his university student council and a book donation drive for Deakin Residential Services newly opened library.

Beyond Beta Alpha Psi, Adyant served for three years on the Deakin Business School’s Student Engagement and Experience Committee. He also worked with Study Melbourne under the Victorian Government’s Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions where he advocated for international student voices.

A passionate public speaker, Adyant has delivered and led workshops for over 1,000 students focusing on professional growth, leadership and engagement. His dedication extends to professional development as he was the sub-regional finalist in the CFA Research Challenge and a recipient of the Outstanding Mentor Contribution Award.

Outside of his academic and professional commitments, Adyant enjoys surfing, traveling and cooking. He is honoured to serve as the Mid-Year Representative for the Oceania and International (Saudi Arabia) Chapters and looks forward to connecting with members and strengthen the BAP community worldwide
