Since 2001, Deloitte has proudly sponsored the Best Practices program, challenging Beta Alpha Psi chapters to design and implement projects that demonstrate leadership, professional responsibility, and service. Each year, chapters compete by showcasing innovative initiatives aligned with values shared by BAP and Deloitte. For more information, click here.

Chapters submit a written proposal outlining why developing leaders is important to the chapter in preparing them for the global workforce. Also, chapters provide a detailed strategy outlining how they will provide opportunities for members to think, learn and act as leaders and include a detailed action plan defining project objectives, desired outcomes and how funds would be spent. Beta Alpha Psi takes pride in acknowledging the steadfast support provided by deans to their respective chapters. The Outstanding Dean Award is an annual tribute to these leaders who play a pivotal role in shaping the path of our organization. In addition to offering scholarships for membership, Beta Alpha Psi and the AICPA Foundation provide travel grants for eligible Beta Alpha Psi members attending the annual meeting.

To qualify for the travel grant, students must have received the AICPA Financial Hardship Membershp Grant. Both the student and the faculty advisor must apply separately for the travel grant, confirming the student's receipt of the Beta Alpha Psi Membership Grant.
