AICPA Legacy Scholarships (funded by the AICPA Foundation)

The AICPA Foundation Legacy Scholarships rewards over 100 annual recipients, ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 for their accounting education and needs. These recipients are known as AICPA Legacy Scholars, a well-connected community of students who passionately pursue their accounting ambitions.

All students have the opportunity to earn an AICPA Foundation Legacy Scholarship. Whether you’re a community college student who’s transferring to a four-year accounting program, a graduate student who’s well on their way to becoming a CPA or somewhere in between, you are welcome to apply.

You only need to submit one online application, and you’ll be considered for all the AICPA Foundation Legacy Scholarships you are eligible for.

AICPA Foundation Hardship Grants and Travel Stipends

With over 300 chapters across the US, Beta Alpha Psi serves numerous communities. In line with our commitment to expanding representation, the AICPA Foundation has granted Beta Alpha Psi funds for candidate membership fees and travel to the Annual Meeting. Learn more about available award prizes.

ASCPA Educational Foundation Scholarships

The ASCPA Educational Foundation offers $2,500 scholarships to Alabama students who are serious about becoming CPAs—open to ASCPA members majoring in accounting at accredited Alabama colleges.

Newt D. Becker CPA Exam Review Course Scholarship Program

This CPA Exam scholarship is intended to support those who are deserving, based on need and active community service. The Becker CPA Exam scholarship will provide 130 CPA candidates with the Becker Advantage Package, worth $2,499 providing 24-month access, to Becker’s Exam Day ReadySM tools and resources. The scholarships are non-transferable.

Becker Campus Ambassador Program includes a CPA Review Scholarship

As a campus ambassador, you’ll work closely with faculty and peers to spread the word about Becker’s Exam Review courses on your campus. In short, you’ll be there to help fellow students have a successful exam experience. The Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program (DFASP)

The DFASP collaborate with 25 colleges and universities to help fund scholarships for students interested in pursuing a fifth-year master's degree in accounting, master of tax or master of accounting with a concentration in audit, advisory, or tax. The Deloitte Foundation and participating universities will provide the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars a scholarship that covers 100% of their tuition and academic fees (excluding books and living expenses) for the academic year.

The FICPA Scholarship Foundation

  • FICPA Foundation Scholarships Awarded to students majoring in accounting or a related field, who are pursuing a career as a CPA in Florida. 
  • FICPA CPA Exam Prep Scholarships The FICPA Scholarship Foundation has teamed with Gleim CPA Review, Becker Accounting, and UWorld Accounting to offer up to 6 CPA Exam Prep Scholarships. Eligible CPA candidates can enter for a chance to win full-course study materials from our partner providers.
  • FICPA Bridge to CPA Scholarships This scholarship program is exclusively available to individuals enrolled in the FICPA Bridge to CPA program and requires a nomination from participating firms.

The Internal Audit Foundation Academic Programs, Grants, and Awards

  • Aramco Internal Audit Dissertation Scholarship Supports doctoral candidates conducting research that advances the internal audit profession.
  • Larry B. Sawyer Student Scholarship Recognizes outstanding undergraduate or graduate students studying internal auditing; awards up to $5,000.
  • Internal Audit Academic Alliance Grant Program Provides funding to universities in the Academic Alliance to strengthen internal audit education and curriculum development.
  • Global Student Conference Travel Grants Helps students and educators cover travel costs to attend the Global Student Conference

The Institute of Management Accountants Academic Programs, Grants, and Awards

  • Stuart Cameron & Margaret McLeod Memorial Scholarship (SCMS) A scholarship offered to a graduate or undergraduate student based on specified criteria in honor of Stuart Cameron and Margaret McLeod.
  • IMA Student Scholarship Program Enables students at IMA-endorsed or partner schools to be nominated by faculty and receive support to prepare for and take the CMA® or FMAA™ exam at no cost.
  • IMA Century Scholarship Award Recognizes up to two active IMA student members who have shown volunteerism and leadership, awarding $7,500 plus a CMA scholarship.
  • CMA Doctoral Scholarship Program Available to candidates in an accredited doctoral accounting program and covers the CMA exam cost.
  • IMA Doctoral Scholars Program Supports doctoral students working on research that advances management accounting practice, offering up to $10,000 in research funding.

The KPMG Master of Accounting with Data and Analytics (MADA) Program

Equips students with data-driven skills essential for the modern accounting profession. In partnership with top U.S. business schools, the program offers up to $40,000 in tuition assistance for eligible candidates who accept an Audit Associate role at KPMG.

The MACPA Foundation

Through the generous contributions of our donors the MACPA Foundation provides scholarships, leadership programs, and mentorship opportunities to help secure the future of the CPA profession.

Academic Scholarships The MACPA Foundation presents several scholarships tailored for Maryland college students. Apply between Jan. 1 and Apr. 15 annually, with recipients announced in May.

CPA Exam & Review Scholarships Open year-round, our CPA exam and exam review scholarships offer awards based on eligibility criteria until the yearly limit is reached.

Ignite Scholarships

Established by the Foundation, the scholarship is designed to enhance participation from outstanding freshmen and sophomores from all backgrounds with a goal of inspiring inclusion in the accounting profession. All Ignite Scholarship recipients will receive an invitation to TakeOff!, an exclusive in-office event, to learn about the Moss Adams culture and engage with leaders and other professionals. Recipients will also be matched with a Moss Adams mentor to provide guidance throughout the academic journey.

NCACPA Foundation Scholarships  

Community College Scholarship Supports North Carolina community college students pursuing an associate degree in accounting with plans to continue to a four-year program; awards up to $1,500.

Undergraduate Program Scholarship For NC students enrolled in a four-year accounting program that leads to CPA Exam eligibility; awards up to $2,000.

Graduate Program Scholarship For students in a North Carolina graduate accounting program that fulfills CPA Exam requirements; awards up to $2,500.

NJCPA Scholarship Fund

The NJCPA Scholarship Fund awards $2,000 scholarships to New Jersey college sophomores or second-year students at New Jersey community colleges attending a four-year college in the fall. The Fund also awards $6,500 scholarships to New Jersey college juniors majoring in accounting who are entering their senior year and seniors who are entering an accounting-related graduate program. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, essay and personal interview.

  • Power Your Education The RSM US Foundation awards 10 business and technology students annually with a $10,000 scholarship each and an invitation to an RSM information session.
  • First Generation The RSM US Foundation awards five first generation students with up to $30,000 each in scholarships, paid $10,000 annually over three consecutive academic years and an invitation to an RSM information session.
  • Power Your Transition Community College The RSM US Foundation awards 10 community college students with up to $10,000 each in scholarships as they pursue a bachelor’s degree in business or technology.

The generosity of Texas CPAs allows the Accounting Education Foundation to fund scholarships to Texas college students. Recipients are accounting majors at a Texas college or university and have the intent of becoming a Texas Certified Public Accountant and entering the accounting profession upon graduation. GPA and perform well in accounting classes. Recipients receive $2,500 for the academic year.
