Our Chapter Advocates (CAs) play a crucial role in representing the interests and voices of our members. The Chapter Advocacy Council (CAC) is comprised of seven dedicated CAs, each serving a three-year term. These advocates are assigned to specific regions, ensuring localized and focused representation.
Every year, the CAs in their third year transition off the CAC and onto the board of directors, maintaining a fresh perspective and continuous advocacy.
CAs coordinate and attend regional meetings, represent chapters at all board and advocacy meetings, provide guidance to faculty advisors to enhance chapter operations, and assist chapters facing special circumstances, such as those on probation, petitioning chapters, or at risk of probation.
Chapter Advisors are dedicated to ensuring every member's voice is heard and valued.
Through Beta Alpha Psi, we are provided an opportunity to engage with a motivated network of future professionals, sharing insights, offering resources, and fostering connections that help prepare them for successful careers in the field. This collaboration not only benefits students but also enriches the accounting profession by cultivating a continuous pipeline of well-prepared and motivated talent.
