Beta Alpha Psi Celebrates 2025–2026 Award Recipients

Across Beta Alpha Psi, students, faculty advisors, academic leaders, and chapters create opportunities that help future professionals learn, lead, and succeed. Through mentorship, perseverance, innovation, and service, they strengthen the chapter experience and make a lasting impact on their campuses and communities.

The following recipients were recognized during the 2025–2026 academic year for their exceptional contributions to Beta Alpha Psi and its mission.

Medal of Inspiration Scholarship Award

The Medal of Inspiration Scholarship Award recognizes students who demonstrate resilience, determination, and a commitment to achieving their educational and professional goals.

This year’s recipient is Angela Oronoz of Florida International University’s Eta Iota Chapter. 

 

Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award

Faculty advisors play an essential role in the success of Beta Alpha Psi chapters, providing mentorship, guidance, and support that help students grow as leaders and professionals.

This year’s recipients (pictured left to right) are:

Outstanding Dean Award

The Outstanding Dean Award recognizes academic leaders whose support helps Beta Alpha Psi chapters thrive and creates opportunities for student success.

This year’s recipient is Dean Giorgio Gotti, PhD, of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, nominated by the Xi Phi Chapter.

The Elevate Your Leadership Competition challenges students to demonstrate leadership, collaboration, and innovative thinking while addressing real-world opportunities and challenges.

First Place: Fordham University, Alpha Omega Chapter

Second Place: Monash University, Xi Epsilon Chapter

Third Place: Swinburne University of Technology, Xi Sigma Chapter; University of Auckland, Auckland Chapter; and Drake University, Gamma Mu Chapter.
