Business programs at community colleges prepare students for what comes next. We build on that work through the Emerging Scholars Program, a faculty and student-led chapter experience designed specifically for community colleges that connects students to leadership, service, and the profession.

1. Verify Eligibility
Ensure your school is an accredited, not-for-profit institution
2. Secure Support
Gather support from your business dean, department chairs, and faculty. Identify a dedicated Faculty Advisor willing to guide your chapter
3. Recruit Members
Assemble a group of at least 10 eligible business major, minor, concentration, or certificate students with a 3.0 GPA
4. Submit Application
Complete the application with required documents
5. Complete Activities
Successfully complete activities for at least one semester (or two quarters)
6. Schedule Installation
Arrange a virtual site visit, pay a one-time installation fee, and plan the chapter’s virtual installation ceremony
