"Through my membership in Beta Alpha Psi's Delta Theta Chapter, I have had the opportunity to be part of a group of exceptional individuals that are committed to members continuous growth and professional success. With the help of personalized resume and cover letter workshops along with professional events, I learned how to develop a personal brand that has allowed me to effectively network with distinguished business leaders. Because of this exposure and gained skill set, I have received internship offers from both a local firm and a Big Four firm, all while learning more about the endless accounting opportunities in Hawaii and on the mainland. Every day is exciting as I meet new people and make lasting memories with members as we pursue our career goals.

After my positive experience in the club, I wanted to also empower others to develop their strengths and help them pursue their career goals, so I chose to run as the Delta Theta Chapter President. With this leadership position, I have learned the importance of teamwork and critical thinking while making important decisions for the well-being of the organization and our members. Together, the Executive Board has provided an environment where students feel welcome and have opportunities to grow as leaders and future professionals. Through this environment, many of our new members received offers from their first-choice firms and have also been inspired to run for Executive Board positions to continue leaving a legacy of excellence for the future generations of Delta Theta."

I support Beta Alpha Psi because I love helping students navigate starting their careers! It’s extremely rewarding to help students explore different avenues and possibilities as they land positions they are genuinely excited about. It’s an exciting time to join the work force – there are so many different career paths and opportunities to pursue. By attending local and Mid-Year meetings, I hope to continue being a resource for students as they discover the working world.
