"My experience at Beta Alpha Psi has allowed me to make great strides in both career and personal development. Through BAP, I was able to interact with various recruiters and gain knowledge relevant to applying for a job in the public accounting field, while at the same time learning more about life as an accountant. My first year at BAP taught me just how much I truly did not know about the field that I had planned to enter into. I feel the learning opportunities at BAP significantly contributed to obtaining my internship offer from Grant Thornton for next summer. Additionally, Beta Alpha Psi has given me the opportunity to meet fellow students planning to go into accounting related professions and to work on building a network of connections. The people that I have met through BAP have inspired me to work harder and to be my best self. The organization has also provided a plethora of opportunities to work together through community service. The semester hour requirements for service demonstrate the organization’s commitment to helping others and personally helped to motivate me to participate more often. These service events are typically my favorite events at BAP. I have fond memories helping at the Boston Marathon, Cradles to Crayons and even selling Christmas trees. These events gave me the opportunity to interact more with fellow members of BAP, while at the same time helping others and giving back to the community. This aspect in particular differentiates BAP from other organizations."
NASBA Center for the Public Trust is honored to partner with Beta Alpha Psi as we guide young professionals to become ethical leaders.
