"My only regret concerning Beta Alpha Psi is that I did not join earlier! I began participating at an Associate level and later graduated to a Candidate the following semester. I was elected Secretary upon gaining my title as a full-fledged Member, and the experience I have gained through my time with Beta Alpha Psi has been truly invaluable. 

Every semester, Beta Alpha Psi hosts a Meet the Firms event; it is the crown jewel of the Iota Phi Chapter. Looking back, I remember attending my first Meet the Firms event as an Associate. I was nervous beyond belief and managed to strike out in three interviews. 

Afterward, I made a commitment to dedicate my time to Beta Alpha Psi. I was given the opportunity to become educated in the “real world” of accounting, prepared for the interview process, and well-versed on how to network. At this past Meet the Firms, I was offered a job and granted a scholarship to help pay for the CPA exam.  Obtaining a job before graduation would not have been a reality for me had it not been for Beta Alpha Psi."
