"As a member of Beta Alpha Psi, I have had many opportunities to develop professionally and personally. As the President of my chapter, my mission has been to create a more inclusive environment while improving the quality of development opportunities. With an involved international student membership at our chapter, I have been able to share my experiences and help them transition through the organization."

"My name is Dave Pearson, and I am the co-faculty advisor for the Nu Iota Chapter at Washington University in St. Louis. I have been a member of Beta Alpha Psi for a little over 60 years, including serving as the President of the Beta Alpha Chapter at Indiana University in 1959-60. That experience enabled me to develop my leadership, communications, teamwork, and project management skills, all of which have been invaluable during my careers at Arthur Young/EY and subsequently for the last two decades in the academic world and my part-time work for the Public Oversight Board, and then the PCAOB for the last almost 16 years. Also, during my years at IU, I met many individuals, both speakers at our professional events and fellow members, with whom I maintained contact for many years, and in some instances, served with on profession-wide boards and committees. I hope you find your membership in BAP as rewarding as I have."
