"This year, we became a Beta Alpha Psi chapter! That was a very exciting day for our students and faculty. Our chapter had the honor of having Dr. Sandra Richtermeyer, president of Beta Alpha Psi and Mr. Eddie Nabors, southeast regional chapter advocate to come lead in our installation ceremony. We also had Mr. Boyd Busby, executive director of the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy and Mrs. Jeannine Birmingham, president and CEO of the Alabama Society of CPAs, along with many of the local CPA firms join us for this celebration. It was truly a special event for AUM to have all these wonderful people come out to celebrate this exciting event with us! We will forever be grateful for all the support for our chapter!
The first photo is from our installation ceremony. The second is one of our community service events. We had many BAP and other accounting students come pack food boxes. It was a very successful event.
Our chapter is so excited to be a part of the international organization of Beta Alpha Psi. We have had a great first year and look forward to many, many more!"
