"Deakin’s chapter has provided its members with valuable opportunities to not only develop their own professional and technical skills but to consider the importance of giving back to the community which aligns with the primary objectives of Beta Alpha Psi. This is demonstrated by the involvement of the society in various events which included networking events with PricewaterhouseCoopers, donating blood at the Australian Red Cross and career success workshops that enhance professional skills.
The hard work and devotion shown by each member and faculty staff has enabled the chapter to rapidly grow in prominence within a short space of time and such achievements could not be possible without their tireless efforts.
As Deakin’s chapter farewells the inaugural executive committee and welcomes in a new group of enthusiastic, young leaders, there is much excitement and optimism for the year ahead. More opportunities will exist to further grow the chapter and make a positive contribution to the community, amongst external stakeholders and the members."
