"The Beta Kappa Chapter of BAP historically had a long tradition of success as being a superior chapter on a consistent year to year basis. However, for number of years, that consistent superior chapter status has not been maintained. Our goal for this year is to attain Superior status again and continue the previous tradition that we maintained for many years.
Two of our more recent success stories have been our two service projects with Salvation Army and Operation Christmas Child (OCC). The OCC has completed around 500 Christmas boxes each year to be sent to the OCC organization in order to be delivered to less fortunate children around the world."
Several of our pictures are from the Salvation Army project and our OCC project for this year. Salvation Army project will be repeated in the spring semester as well to help maintain our service to the community and beyond.
MACPA’s purpose is leading our profession, Maryland first, in transforming the world and making a positive impact. We seek to Connect, Protect and help the CPA-led profession Achieve success. With this in mind, we partner with BAP, it’s leadership, students, educators and fellow professional partners, because we believe in the power of collaboration and the importance of community. BAP students are our future leaders and together our future is brighter and stronger.
