Mangala is from Melbourne, Australia (not Florida!) and is working as a risk manager in the Technology, Insurance, Security and Operations Risk at the National Australia Bank. Mangala is pursuing an MBA at Imperial College London, but studied his undergraduate at Monash University Australia, where he triple majored in Actuarial Studies, Accounting and Econometrics. During his college years, Mangala served as the inaugural chapter President and subsequently the Chairperson. As part of his chapter activities, he competed in Best Practices and Project Run With It. As an alumni, Mangala served as the Regional Alumni Representative for the Oceania region, Alumni Taskforce Chair, and currently as one of two International Alumni Representatives. On a more personal note, Mangala enjoys watching soccer, walking along the beach, taking photos of the sunset, playing board games, as well as geeking out on Marvel movies, tv shows and comics.
I’ve been involved with Beta Alpha Psi in some capacity for over 30 years and I can attest to the fact that the organization does an amazing job of developing leadership, teamwork and practical work skills that transfer to great preparation for a career in business. It is a student run organization that allows the students to ideate, innovate and motivate. It is a true gold seal of approval from the perspective of a talent acquisition professional.
