Dori Danko is an instructor of accounting at Grand Valley State University. She has been a Beta Alpha Psi Faculty Advisor for approximately 17 years. This will be the second time she has been Midwest Chapter Advocate and is excited to begin. She received her Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, her MBA from Grand Valley State University, and was a CPA prior to entering academic life. She teaches introduction to financial accounting and nonprofit governmental accounting courses. She was an auditor with Coopers and Lybrand, and worked in the private industry as a controller prior to entering teaching full time. She has two daughters and enjoys spending time with family including her adorable rescue dog, Tilly.
