
Dr. Mehmet C. Kocakülah is currently Professor Emeritus of Accounting at the University of Southern Indiana. He has taught university accounting courses for over 41 years at four universities, served as the department chair at two universities, and has been awarded Fulbright scholarships twice.
Dr. Kocakülah has received five teaching awards, including the Distinguished Professor Award for Excellence in Teaching, Research and Service at the University of Southern Indiana.
He has served in many professional organizations, including the American Accounting Association and Decision Sciences institute in several different capacities, the Institute of Management Accountants, Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi, and more. He has served as the BAP Midwest Region Chapter Advocate and as faculty advisor.
Dr. Kocakülah's research interests are concentrated in management and cost accounting, healthcare management, productivity, cost of quality and international accounting. His work has been published in many refereed journals. He specialized in teaching management accounting and cost accounting.
