Dr. Kirsten Rosacker, CPA, is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Minnesota State University, Mankato (MNSU). She specializes in teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses in taxation, leveraging her extensive academic background, which includes a Ph.D. in Business from the University of Nebraska and a Master of Taxation from the University of Akron. Dr. Rosacker's career in academia began in 1996 when she joined Beta Alpha Psi as an instructor at the University of South Dakota. She has since made significant contributions as a faculty advisor to the Theta Upsilon Chapter and the Nu Chi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, demonstrating her commitment to mentoring and developing future accounting professionals.
In addition to her teaching and advisory roles, Dr. Rosacker is a dedicated member of the American Accounting Association. She actively participates in the American Taxation Association and the Diversity Sections, reflecting her commitment to professional development and diversity in the accounting field. Dr. Rosacker's research interests include taxation, financial literacy, and public policy, with numerous publications addressing contemporary issues in these areas. Her involvement in both academic and professional communities underscores her dedication to advancing the field of accounting and supporting the next generation of accountants.
