Kristina Jiang is currently pursuing her Master’s in Accounting at the University at Buffalo, where she also serves as a graduate teaching assistant for introductory financial accounting. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Kristina has embraced new opportunities in Buffalo and is excited to return to PwC’s Buffalo office next year as an Assurance Associate in the Banking and Capital Markets sector.
Kristina’s engagement with Beta Alpha Psi began during her sophomore year of college. Her involvement deepened as she served as the Events and Networking Committee Chair during her junior year, where she gained valuable experience coordinating events and fostering connections within the accounting community. In her senior year, Kristina was elected Vice President of Technical for the Zeta Theta chapter, a role that allowed her to organize technical workshops and professional development opportunities for her peers. Even after achieving alumna status, Kristina remains actively engaged with the chapter, mentoring current members and contributing to the organization’s initiatives, which inspired her to pursue the role of Mid-Year Representative.
Beyond her academic and professional commitments, Kristina enjoys spending time with her two beloved cats, who will be celebrating their 10th birthdays this spring! She also loves traveling with friends and family and collecting mugs from her trips.
Kristina is both humbled and excited to serve as a Mid-Year Representative and is eager to meet and collaborate with everyone. Please feel free to reach out to her at the contact information provided below!
AFWA has long supported Beta Alpha Psi because both organizations share a commitment to fostering professional growth and leadership in accounting and finance. BAP, like AFWA, emphasizes academic excellence, ethical conduct, and practical experience, equipping its members with the skills needed for successful careers.
