NCACPA began with a vision of 20 CPAs committed to excellence and today, our thriving community of over 12,000 members has grown for over a century to value service, innovation, and commitment to inclusion.
Our work is grounded in five foundational Core Values:
Vision: A highly valued accounting profession advancing the success of individuals and organizations.
Mission: Enhancing the accounting profession and the community it serves through advocacy, connections, education, and resources.
Everything we do at NCACPA is rooted in people-first leadership, long-term thinking, and shared accountability. Our initiatives are designed to be inclusive, impactful, and future-focused, ensuring the accounting profession reflects the communities it serves.
Our Strategic Priorities include:
Through the work of our resource groups, roundtables, task forces, and advisory groups, NCACPA collaborates with key policymakers and industry leaders, including the NC State Board of CPA Examiners, the General Assembly, AICPA, and FASB. These efforts help shape the future of the profession while ensuring our members have access to timely insights, support, and the tools they need to thrive.
