The Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA) is a professional society representing Texas CPAs and finance professionals. Founded in 1915, the society empowers members to lead and succeed by promoting professional excellence, advocating on behalf of CPAs, and supporting a sense of community and connection among its members. With 20 local chapters and 28,000 members, TXCPA has one of the largest memberships of any CPA society in the U.S.

Shicoyia Morgan joined TXCPA in 2023 and is the Student and School Engagement Coordinator. In this position, Shicoyia helps develop and engage a diverse student population, implements pipeline initiatives and helps facilitate the way the students learn about accounting as they are ready to enter the job.
Shicoyia has a tremendous amount of experience working with students at NASPA, Texas A&M, University of Georgia and most recently as an advisor with Noodle Education. Shicoyia earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Texas A&M University - College Station in 2020 and her master's degree in College Student Affairs Administration from University of Georgia in 2022.
