Beta Alpha Psi is proud to recognize four exceptional faculty members as the 2025 recipients of the Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award. This annual award honors faculty advisors who demonstrate extraordinary dedication to their chapters and to the professional development of their students.
The 2025 honorees are:
Faculty advisors play a critical role in the success of Beta Alpha Psi chapters. In addition to their teaching and research responsibilities, they often devote countless hours to mentoring student leaders, coordinating events, and representing the organization on campus and beyond.
For Dr. John Webster, CA, CPA, who has served as faculty advisor at Swinburne since 2016, the honor is especially meaningful. “It has been a privilege to support our Beta Alpha Psi students as they grow into thoughtful, capable, and ethical professionals,” he said. “This recognition reflects the collective effort and dedication of our entire chapter at Swinburne.”
Jacob Crowley, CPA and Ph.D. student, echoed a similar sentiment. A former student member and past president of the Mu Delta chapter, Crowley now serves as its advisor. “Receiving the Beta Alpha Psi Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award is deeply meaningful to me,” he said. “It affirms the impact of mentoring future professionals and reflects the dedication of our incredible students. I’m proud to give back to the same chapter that once shaped my own academic and professional journey.”
Each recipient will receive a $5,000 award and a commemorative plaque, presented during the 2025 Beta Alpha Psi Annual Meeting.
