Community Impact Day at the 2024 Beta Alpha Psi Annual Meeting

Thursday, July 25

Beta Alpha Psi's Community Impact Day is an event that promotes community service and engagement among our members who are attending the 2024 Annual Meeting in Orlando. Community Impact Day is a key part of Beta Alpha Psi's mission to encourage personal and professional growth through service and ethical leadership.

Beta Alpha Psi is enormously grateful to KPMG LLP for its continued support of the Community Impact Day (CID) project.

Join Us in Promoting Literacy and Supporting Local Charities with Reading Rocks!

Beta Alpha Psi's Community Impact Day this year features the exciting Reading Rocks activity, which aims to promote literacy and support local Orlando-area charities such as the Heart of Florida United Way. Through engaging activities like trivia, book balance, and children's book challenges, participants will come together to encourage reading among elementary school students.

We will donate between 1,500 and 2,000 books to local organizations, ensuring that young readers have access to a diverse selection of literature. Additionally, over 1,600 decorated bookmarks and 200 stuffed animal "reading buddies" will be distributed along with the books, providing children with the resources and motivation to enjoy their reading journey.

By participating in Reading Rocks, we can make a tangible impact on the lives of young students, helping them build a strong foundation in literacy and setting them up for future success. Join us in supporting this meaningful initiative and making a positive difference in our community.
